Health Trust
- A Health Trust is Canada
Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA) approved program
that achieves the maximum tax
deduction for all dental, health and vision expenses for:
- Self employed individuals
- Corporations
Who Qualifies?
- Unincorporated self-employed
individuals qualify to a maximum of $1,500 per person, per year
for health, dental and vision expenses.
Incorporated businesses can self insure the health, dental and vision expenses of their employees and get a tax deduction for the expense.
What will it cost me?
- You pay a one-time set up
fee of $200 that is tax deductible.
- You pay no premiums.
- You pay an administration
cost of 10% on all expenses only and at the time of claim.
- A stop loss/travel medical
insurance is mandatory on unincorporated self employed programs
and it is optional for incorporated companies
Notice:
CCRA require a 3rd party Trustee
and Administrator to adjudicate claims for accuracy and compliance
with Federal Laws.
