Poirier and Associates is a life insurance and investment brokerage that has over 20 years of history in Alberta. As a division of Ron Poirier Inc. we can provide estate planning, financial planning and employee benefits to residents of Alberta.

Our estate planning service is geared to provide planning for families, small business and farm families. Our process is to review your needs to understand and determine what your estate goals are and then draw up a plan that fits your needs. We work with your own lawyer and accountant, however we also have a relationship with several professionals that specialize in these areas that we can also work with. Wills and tax advice is done by those professionals who specialize in these areas. We also have access to most of the major insurance companies.

The financial planning process is done by a planner who has completed the CFP designation. Once your goals and objectives are determined and your investment philosophy is ascertained we have access to all the major mutual fund and segregated funds available in Canada. To complement the funds we have access to all the major GIC distributors in Canada such as the major banks, trust companies and credit unions.

Employee benefits is a specialty in itself. We do small groups in house, however for larger groups or specialty groups we have contracts with benefit consultants that will work with us to provide you with the best resources in the market place. For larger companies with offices in more than one province we can provide personalized services in each city across Canada.
